The 10 Things You Didn't Know.....

Imagine that your a woman strolling down a street in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with your boyfriend. Then imagine that there is a "morality" police that stops and berates you for dressing in such a fashion and commands the boyfriend to leave. Then issues you a "warning."

It just seems so absurd.

But that is what happens in Iran. Not only that. The President of Iran, Ahmadinejad, was an instructor with the Basij, the youth volunteer organization that does exactly what is described above. It enforces the Islamic Republic's strict religious codes. The Basij searched the city on motorcycles, looking for women in violation of strict Muslim dress codes or in the company of males who were not close relatives.
