Warrior Update

Enough of being a part of the vast rightwing conspiracy to defend gays!

It is past time for a Warrior update:

Blackfive has some AWESOME pics from Afghanistan and Iraq including one as our Warrior "covers a door with his 9 mm pistol as the interpreter calls for the owner to come out at the home of a known criminal located in a village located on the outskirts of Bayji, Iraq, on Jan. 24, 2005."

Michelle Malkin follows the story of a "Marine who may face the death penalty for killing two Iraqi insurgents in the heat of battle in a terrorist-infested town near Baghdad." More here and here.

Trying to Grok puts it briefly and well:

"If the story actually happened the way LT Pantano says it did, then I'm about sick and tired of our soldiers and marines getting charged with murder in Iraq. If I may quote State of Fear...
If someone tried to kill you, you did not have the option of averting your eyes or changing the subject. You were forced to deal with that person's behavior. The experience was, in the end, a loss of certain illusions.
The world was not how you wanted it to be.
The world was how it was.
There were bad people in the world. They had to be stopped."
