My very conservative daughter found about 20 Obama yard signs in her tiny little yard in front of her apartment. She just laughed it off and threw the signs in a dumpster, but this kind of garbage is unacceptable:

CULLOWHEE – A dead bear was found dumped this morning on the Western Carolina University campus, draped with a pair of Obama campaign signs, university police said.

Maintenance workers reported about 7:45 a.m. finding a 75-pound bear cub dumped at the roundabout near the Catamount statute at the entrance to campus, said Tom Johnson, chief of university police.

Every election year we have people vandalizing election headquarters in towns, slashing tires, and writing graffiti on walls. Already this year we have had crude sexually explicit t-shirts about Palin and people carrying Curious George monkeys with Obama signs attached.

Enough already. Aren't we a civilized people? If you see anything like this at your polls, whether it's against McCain/Palin or Obama/Biden politely ask they remove themselves from the planet.
