What if we all stayed home?

When I talk to normal people who are not political junkies like myself, I am not surprised when they show no passion or even desire to vote in the Presidential election. Both sides feel terribly let down by their party.

Given the scandals in the Republican party of late, the evangelicals are feeling like they do more good at church than at the voting booth.

Anti-war Democrats are fed up with the leadership in failing to not even stop the surge, much less the war. Add to that, Bush wins over and over from the Patriot Act to the surge, despite Democratic control of the House and the Senate.

I have a feeling that this Presidential election will be the lowest voter turnout to date.
