I was reading this Politico article on all the Democrat Lobbyists scrambling for jobs in Washington D.C. right now, so excited about having a Democrat in the White House. One lobbyist spoke with passion about what Democrats love (and this, my friends, is the problem with the Democratic party): (emphasis mine)

Not to mention, Democratic lobbyist Andy Rosenberg said, “Democrats love government. We believe in government and we enjoy working for government. And so the temptation is always there and the pull is even stronger at a time of such historical significance.”
