"Thanks for your extensive coverage of the administration's amnesty plan for illegals. Whenever I hear our president claim that illegal aliens are needed to do the "jobs Americans won't do," I can only think of three words:
West Virginia miners.

Bush's comments are a slap in the face to those hardworking Americans!"

First of all, miners are paid quite well. Which is why they take the job. Do you think they would do that job for minimum wage? Hell no. It works out for that industry that they can still make a profit paying that well. If you paid Americans $40 an hour to clean stadium restrooms for example, you might find some Americans to do it as well.
