Prayers of the faithful

From Iran that is:

"Our country experiences severe pressure from outside. What ever we do, they protest against us. We exercise the law of Islam by cutting the hands of thieves, and those countries who prohibit execution of the law of Islam criticize us...---Ayatollah Mohi al-Din Ha'eri Shirazi, Friday Prayers.

Can you imagine? In Iran they PRAY about the rightness of cutting off hands as punishment, and yet this doesn't seem to bother the left in this country who pretend that the U.S. somehow violates human rights on a daily basis.
