This was an interesting news bit I came across:

Compassion & Choices -- "which advocates a 'peaceful and humane death' for braindamaged patients, such as the late Terri Schiavo" -- "is trying to honor CNN NewsNight anchor Aaron Brown at its May 19 star-studded benefit for his coverage of the Schiavo story,"

The story goes on to say:

But a CNN spokesperson says "Aaron personally and respectfully declined...He felt it was inappropriate to accept the award from an advocacy organization, however worthy." via Mediabistro

Sorry, I don't call starving a person to DEATH for TWO WEEKS a "peaceful and humane death." Give me a freakin break. You can say you thought it better that she be dead. You can say you don't think she had "quality of life." You can say that you believe she wouldn't have wanted to live that way, but DON'T say that the actual death was anything but the gruesome spectacle it was.

And isn't it nice that an anchor on CNN news is so BIASED on this issue that an ADVOCACY group wants to award him for his bias?
And isn't it nice that even in saying how inappropriate it would be to accept such an award, they say HOW WORTHY it is.

And CNN wonders why Fox is beating the hell out of them in the ratings.
