A website carrying claims of the killing also said this:
"We tell every traitor and supporter of the Jews and Christians that this is your fate."


I realize that America is tiring of these attacks. Who is not sick of the death and destruction these terrorists leave behind? But it is for this very reason that we must prevail. We can not only let these people win in any way, but we also cannot send a message to anyone that this is the way to intimidate people. It is more important now more than ever that the election in Iraq go forward as planned. I know there is a concern from the Sunni's about they being able to vote. I don't care if we have to go to them and let them vote in their home, it needs to be done.

Luckily, Fareed Ayar, a spokesman for Iraq's Independent Electoral Commission, seems adamant that there be no delay.
