Harry Whittington has a minor heart attack.

Cnn says:

The hunter shot and wounded by Vice President Dick Cheney suffered a minor heart attack after a piece of birdshot moved to his heart, a hospital spokesman said today. "Some of the bird shot appears to have moved and lodged into part of his heart ... in what we would say is a minor heart attack," said a spokesman for the Texas hospital treating Harry Whittington.

...Cheney desperately needed a distraction and he, and his co-conspirators figured this 78 year old guy was worth the sacrifice..

Point well taken, but (none / 0)
negligent homicide by the Veep while "hunting" wingless quail in a hunting preserve (essentially blasting birds trapped behind fences) is a pretty big story.

I think that Cheney was drunk, probably all of them were actually. Most states would require a BAC test. It would be interesting to know if Dick was tested.

So now Cheney was drunk and Whittington is probably dead and was from the beginning. It's being covered up. And what the hell is "wingless quail?"
