NBC is a joke.

Look at the video while you can. The Secret NBC Police may yank it at any time.

I saw this on Fox yesterday. Just unbelievable.

From RedState:

The Saturday Night LIve skit lampooning the mortgage bailout has been yanked from the internet by NBC. GregInFla mentioned this yesterday.

The skit correctly pointed out that the Democrats blocked oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac when President Bush and the Republicans warned them there was a problem coming.

Likewise, the skit mocked Herbert and Marion Sandler and George Soros, three of the super rich Democrats the bailout is going to help.

There is new information out this morning suggesting NBC did, in fact, yank the video because it portrayed the Democrats badly.

What makes things look even worse for NBC in this case is that they’re not only going about the business of removing the clip wherever it showed up, but they’re also removing any comments that inquire as to what happened to the clip and why it was removed.

Is NBC really that far into the pocket of the Democrats or is there a more plausible explanation? I searched for one all over, and the answers were a bit difficult to arrive at due to the fact that none on the liberal side of the political blogosphere seemed willing to cover the story at all.

NBC has ceased to be, in any residual way, anything but an outlet for the Democrats. And remember folks, these same people want the fairness doctrine to shut down Rush Limbaugh.

By the way, why don't you call Amy Zelvin of NBC Universal Digital Media Communications at (212) 664-7436 and ask what happened to the video and why even comments at Hulu about the video are being deleted?

You can email her at amy.zelvin@nbcuni.com.

Likewise, you can call Jeff Zucker at (212) 664-4444 and email him at jeff.zucker@nbcuni.com.
